Blue Sky University Pipeline ConferenceBlue Sky University is a three-day conference packed full of leadership, innovation and technology experiences for those involved in the pipeline industry.

James Redden, data integrity specialist for MATCOR will present “Integrating Integrity From a Corrosion Control Perspective.”

This presentation will focus on the difficulties in interdepartmental communication of data between management, construction, GIS, integrity, and field personnel on the operator side.

A business model offering a multi-tiered solution for the operator at every level will be presented. This business model incorporates ArcGIS analytics with BlueSky Data Alignment Sheets in a final data package. All ArcGIS data sets can be exported to fit the operator’s PODS system. The system has the ability to integrate ILI, ACVG/DCVG, PCM, and CIS data all into one risk assessment sheet, empowering the operator’s decision makers in allocating mitigation funds. An Indirect Survey Application feature offers daily data access in the cloud to users in every division. MATCOR Integrated Survey Application (MISA) access empowers the operators to review and analyze their data as it comes in from the field and:

  • See their survey as it is built on a daily basis
  • Generate field service files in different formats including kml, shp, and excel
  • Put their data to work for them
  • Be more efficient in asset integrity, risk assessment, and mitigation
