MATCOR MMP-Anodes

The MATCOR MMP impressed current anodes include a pre-packaged Mixed Metal Oxide Anode for underground applications to protect pipelines, storage tanks, and any other buried structure. These anodes for cathodic protection utilize a certified grade titanium substrate with a dimensionally stable mixed metal oxide coating.

The anode element is factory pre-packaged with tightly compacted MATCOR high-grade carbon backfill in a heavy gauge steel canister.

The anode lead cable connection is the multi-step, PL-connection with the anode connection being looped to create multiple connections betweet the anode and cable.  The standard design life of the anode is 20 years at rated operating current in soil.  The MATCOR MMP Anode is available in 5 standard canister lengths and 3 diameters.  Many other sizes are also available in lengths up to 20 feet.

The standard lead cable is 10 feet (3.04M) of AWG No. 8 HMWPE.  However, any length and type of cable is available, including: Kynar, Halar, PVC, EPR and XLPE.  

As with all MATCOR products these anodes for cathodic protection are guaranteed for 10 years and are ISO:9001:200 certified.
