MATCOR Deep-Anode^TM Systems have been called the most significant development in cathodic protection in the last twenty years. These unique, patented systems were developed by MATCOR. The Mini-Deep^TM systems are available up to 500 ft depth, while the Deep Anode^TM Systems can exceed 1000 feet in depth. Both products have the same basic design; however, the deeper systems do require non-standard reels.

The MATCOR Mini-Deep^TM Anode System is a simple to design, easy to install, electrically redundant deep anode system. This system was designed to reduce total installation costs while providing reliable design and performance.

Available features include Mixed Metal Oxide or Platinum/Niobium Anode materials. The system is complete and ready to be installed for rapid, easy field installation. The complete kit reels down the bore hole with a dual feed, multi-loop system to provide electrical redundancy and even current distribution along the anode element.

Once the bore hole is completed, the protective sleeve is removed from the anode system and the reel is set over the bore hole. The anode assembly is then simply lowered into the hole with the lowering rope supplied with the system – no assembly required.

A system can be lowered down hole in fifteen to twenty minutes. Once installed, the coke breeze is then pumped into the hole and the system is ready to operate. No other deep anode system can be installed as fast.
