The MATCOR MMP™-X Anode is a prepackaged mixed metal oxide anode with a unique driving cone and driving assembly design to enable the anode to be directly driven into soft soil, mud or sand to depths of 30 ft or more without the need for drilling equipment. This design is not suitable for all soil conditions – please contact MATCOR to discuss the feasibility of direct driving the anode.

PRODUCT FEATURES

The anode element is factory prepackaged with tightly compacted MATCOR high grade carbon backfill in a heavy gauge steel canister.

The anode lead cable connection is the multi-step, PL®-connection with the anode connection being looped to create multiple connections between the anode and the cable.

The standard design life of the anode is 20 years at rated operating current in soil. Longer design life is available upon request.

The MATCOR MMP™-X Anode is available in 5 standard canister lengths with other sizes available up to 20 feet in length.

Standard lead cable is 10 ft of AWG No. 8 HMWPE. Custom lengths and cable types are available, including Kynar, Halar, PVC, EPR and XLPE.
