MATCOR and Energy Transfer are co-presenting at the Central Area Conference the results of a successful “pipeline rehabilitation” project in Kansas using linear anodes to provide current on older, poorly coated pipelines with poor current distribution.
Pipeline rehabilitation using linear anodes, when properly designed, is a cost-effective means of addressing these aged pipelines without having to perform costly and intrusive recoating projects.
