Tank Anode Systems for the Richest Man in Africa
Aliko Dangote chose MATCOR tank anode systems to protect 153 new construction above ground storage tanks for crude oil, refined and intermediary products. This project has the potential to transform Nigeria’s corrupt and underperforming petroleum industry.
Congratulations to Elton Sanders on His Retirement from MATCOR
On February 28, 2019, Elton Sanders – a valued employee with 29 years of service – retired from MATCOR. Elton began his career at CP Masters in 1990 as a field hand in Midland, TX. In 1996 he became a Field Foreman and transferred to the Edmond, OK office. He remained a Driller/Foreman until 2011 when he moved into the position of Shop Foreman. Due to his prior mechanical training and extensive experience in repairing field equipment, Elton oversaw maintenance of all Mid-Continent equipment while in the Shop Foreman role. He continued his career as our mechanic for another 7 years, smoothly transitioning into the CP Masters/MATCOR merge in 2015. Elton was a great asset to our company, and through his drilling knowledge and experience, has led several men to successful careers after being trained by him. We would like to thank Elton for his hard work and loyalty to our company. Congratulations, Elton, on your retirement!
NACE Corrosion 2019 Recap | Look Forward to a RODEO Next Year!
The NACE Corrosion 2019 Conference and Expo was held in Nashville, TN March 24-28, 2019, providing an energetic setting for a very successful conference. MATCOR attendees connected with several key clients during the conference and held a VIP Client Event at the Lane Motor Museum on Tuesday night, March 26. Event attendees were treated to an exhibit of over 150 European cars, live music and Tennessee-style hospitality. Plans for connecting in Houston for NACE Corrosion 2020 are already in the works – stay tuned – think R-O-D-E-O!
