MATCOR has developed a unique impressed current CP system to protect the elevator shaft inside of the piston casing. The system can be install when the elevator is installed or as a retrofit later. The system includes reference electrodes and the rectifier.
Sacrificial Anode System
In some cases, it is possible to use a sacrificial anode system to protect the internal surfaces of an elevator casing. The sacrificial system includes the anodes, cabling and reference electrodes. It can be installed on a new elevator as a retrofit.
