Project managers oversee end-to-end delivery of cathodic protection and AC mitigation projects—from scope and proposal through installation, commissioning, and close-out. Strong candidates come from a CP engineering or field background and are comfortable managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
No experience in corrosion? That’s okay. MATCOR actively hires entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to travel, and a desire to learn a specialized trade with long-term demand.

Not always. For entry-level cathodic protection technician jobs, we prioritize candidates with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. We sponsor AMPP CP1 certification once you’re onboard. Senior and engineer-level roles typically require CP2, CP3, or a relevant engineering degree.
Early-career field roles typically involve 50–75% travel. As you gain experience and seniority, travel requirements often decrease. Some engineering and management roles are more regionally focused
