Soil Resistivity Testing
Soil resistivity is a critical factor in cathodic protection design. This article explains the most common testing method and how to ensure accurate, useful data.

Pipeline Coating Evaluations
Coatings are your pipeline’s first line of defense. Learn how DCVG/ACVG surveys and ECDA evaluations help ensure your underground and aboveground assets remain protected.

ECDA vs. ICDA: What’s the Difference?
ECDA and ICDA assessments are two techniques used to evaluate pipeline conditions.
- ECDA targets external corrosion threats—especially for coated pipelines—using indirect inspection, data integration, and direct examination.
- ICDA focuses on internal corrosion risks by identifying areas where water or electrolytes may accumulate inside pipelines.

Close Interval Surveys
CIS surveys measure the effectiveness of CP systems according to NACE standards. Often part of an ECDA process, they provide detailed data on pipeline potentials along the entire route.

The Race to AI Supremacy and How it Threatens Our Pipelines
With the rapid expansion of power infrastructure and data centers, AC interference risks are rising. Even recently mitigated pipelines can become vulnerable as new transmission corridors emerge.
Ted Huck recently addressed this trend at the AMPP Arizona Chapter Meeting. Catch the highlights in our recap article below!
